A reusable ABEK1 combination gas filter cartridge designed for compatible twin-cartridge respirators to provide respiratory protection against a range of organic, inorganic and acid gases and vapours, as well as ammonia and organic ammonia derivatives.

- Classification: ABEK1 combination gas filter
- Certain organic gases and vapours with a boiling point greater than 65°C and good warning properties
- Inorganic gases and vapours, including chlorine – excluding carbon monoxide
- Acid gases and vapours, including sulphur dioxide and hydrogen chloride
- Ammonia and organic ammonia derivatives

- NRCS homologated as per SANS 10338:2009
- SANS 54387:2007 – Respiratory protective devices, gas filters and combined filters
- NRCS Type Approval No. AZ 2011/56
- EN 14387:2004+A1:2008 – Type ABEK1 TWIN
- Approved for use with half masks as per EN 140:1998
- Approved for use with full-face masks as per EN 136:1998

PACKAGING
- Sold as a set of 2 cartridges
- Cartridges are shrink-wrapped together in a polybag to prevent contamination
- Shelf life: 3 years when stored correctly
PLEASE NOTE
- For use with twin-filter masks only
- These cartridges do not supply oxygen
- Do not use where oxygen concentration is unknown or below 19.5%
- Do not use where contaminants or their concentrations are unknown or immediately dangerous to life or health
- Not suitable for firefighting
- Do not use in explosive atmospheres
- Replace the gas filter immediately if chemical breakthrough is detected by smell, taste or other means
